Office of Business and Entrepreneurship

The Food Finance Institute is part of the Office of Business and Entrepreneurship, which helps entrepreneurs, businesses and economic development professionals across the state to achieve their goals by offering technical assistance and leveraging data.

Connect to Wider Resources Across Wisconsin

All five of the Institute’s programs are reflections of our collaborative approach – connecting Wisconsin’s businesses with resources, data and one another to improve lives and communities. The Institute fulfills The Wisconsin Idea, performing outreach on behalf of the world-class Universities of Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a statewide network supporting entrepreneurs and business owners, at any stage, through no-cost, confidential consulting and targeted educational programs.

The Wisconsin Center for Technology Commercialization (CTC) works with innovators, inventors and researchers to bring new technologies to market by navigating the process of commercialization.

The Food Finance Institute (FFI) is a collaborative network of food entrepreneurs, finance expertise and investment resources focused on Wisconsin’s food and beverage sector.

The Business Dynamics Research Consortium (BDRC) compiles multiple data sets to track performance and growth factors for more than 144 million businesses across the United States.
